Biography

Asraful Islam Rakib is a dedicated and innovative researcher who earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) in Gopalganj, Bangladesh. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Investigator at BioLuster Research Center Ltd. in Gopalganj, Dhaka, where he spearheads cutting-edge projects in natural drug discovery. His work focuses on identifying bioactive compounds and exploring their therapeutic potential across various fields, including neurology, cancer, immunology, and gastrointestinal disorders. He has a particular interest in developing novel treatments for conditions such as depression, epilepsy, and insomnia.

Driven by a passion for advancing scientific knowledge, Rakib is actively seeking opportunities to pursue an MSc or PhD to further enhance his expertise and contribute to global health solutions. His unwavering commitment to scientific innovation and research excellence positions him as a promising leader in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. Through his relentless dedication, Rakib aims to make significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of critical human health challenges, ultimately improving outcomes for patients worldwide.

 

 

Education

Asraful Islam Rakib successfully completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) in Gopalganj, Bangladesh, achieving a CGPA of 3.67 on a 4.00 scale. Throughout his four-year program, he developed a robust foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, encompassing areas such as drug discovery, pharmacology, toxicology, medicinal chemistry, biopharmaceutics, and analytical techniques. Prior to his university studies, Rakib demonstrated exceptional academic performance, achieving a GPA of 4.83 in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination at Dhaka Residential Model School and College, Dhaka, in 2017. Earlier, he secured a perfect GPA of 5.00 in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination at Barguna Zilla School, Barguna, Barisal, in 2015. These academic achievements underscore his dedication to excellence and his commitment to building a career in pharmaceutical research and innovation.
