Biography
Jannatul Ferdous is a dedicated research student who received her B.Sc and MS degrees from the Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering department at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University in Gopalganj-8100. Currently, she is working as a Research Fellow at the Microbial Biotechnology Division at the National Institute of Biotechnology (NIB), since March 21, 2023. The title of her research project is “Isolation, Screening, and Characterization of Potential Probiotics Collected from Traditional Dairy Products.” Also working as a General Researcher at BioLuster Research Center Limited (BLRCL), Gopalganj 8100, Dhaka, Bangladesh, since March 01, 2024. As a general researcher of BLRCL, she brings expertise in computational approaches, natural products, pharmacological activities of bioactive compounds, and preclinical toxicology.
To pursue research experience and skills in a progressive environment, where her education and knowledge will be enhanced to their maximum potential so that she can render her services to humankind most efficiently as a potential researcher and an innovative biotechnologist. Her research focuses on biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, bioinformatics, and computer-aided drug design. She is also interested in enhancing her knowledge and capabilities by working in a dynamic institute that gives substantial responsibility to new talent.
