Biography

 

Mst. Asma Aktar is a dedicated pharmacy scholar and successful researcher with an impressive academic background. At Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) in Gopalganj, Asma pursued her passion of pharmacy and graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the life science faculty.

 

As a general researcher at BioLuster Research Center Ltd., Asma brings expertise in computational approaches, natural products, pharmacological activities of bioactive compounds, and preclinical toxicology. Her research interests span clinical oncology, cancer immunology, drug delivery systems, developmental therapeutics, bioequivalence studies of new drugs, and neuroscience. She is diligently searching for a master's or PhD opportunity to achieve her educational and professional objectives, and she is well-known for her commitment to exploring new knowledge. Through an intense devotion to research, Asma aspires to achieve an enormous contribution to her field by investigating and expanding scientific knowledge in important areas of human health and diseases.

Mst. Asma Aktar has an excellent background in pharmaceutical sciences and is a dedicated student. She obtained her degree as a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from the Department of Pharmacy under the Faculty of Life Sciences at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Gopalganj, Bangladesh. The B.Pharm program spanned four years across eight semesters, while in her B. Pharm program, she completed her project on innovative plant Nigella sativa’s anticancer activities with the title “Anticancer activity of Nigella sativa and its bioactive compounds: An update” under Associate Prof. Md. Torequl IslamPhD, and Assistant Professor Dr. Razina Rouf’s supervision.

 

Before attending university, she excelled academically, achieving an excellent GPA of 4.75 and 5.00 (out of a 5.00 scale) in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination under the Science Group at Rani Bhawani Govt. Women’s College, Natore, and the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination under the Science Group at Hoybatpur M.L. High School, Natore, respectively. Her steady academic success is a reflection of his dedication to education as well as his aptitude for science and pharmacy.
